Part of the Van der Linde gang is John Marston, the protagonist of Red Dead Redemption , the game following, in addition to Arthur’s story, John’s maturation into the serious and responsible person that he is in that game. In addition to John, other members of the gang return in Red Dead Redemption, including Dutch van der Linde, the charismatic leader of the gang, so the stories of the two games are very connected.
